BTO Strategy

BTO Strategy 2009-14

Circles

This strategy outlines the direction of the BTO for the next five years, as agreed by the Management and Council of the BTO during workshops and meetings in 2008. It reflects our own ambitions and broader expectations of the science we deliver, through the partnership between staff and volunteers and in collaboration with partners. It suggests how developments in data accessibility, image and profile, links to our supporters, investment in people and our funding base can help us to achieve our goals.

Two versions of the strategy document are available here:

BTO Strategy brochure (pdf 1.5M)

BTO Strategy with extra detail (pdf 112k)

The version with the Willow Warbler on the front has been developed for our stakeholders; the funders, partners and collaborators with whom we work. Members and other supporters may appreciate the extra detail that is available in the version with the Chaffinch on the front.
